BLT Puff Pastry Pizza – Secret Recipe Club

Welcome to July’s Secret Recipe Club reveal for Group C. I’m excited to share this recipe since it was such a big hit at our table! My assignment this month was Lynsey Lou’s Making Your Days Delicious. Lynsey and I have a few things in common – we both use our time in the kitchen to relax and we both checked out the “What’s Cooking” board on the Nest. I wonder if we ever chatted about recipes back in the day! She’s married and has a super cute son too.

After looking through Lynsey’s recipes, I finally chose the recipe for BLT Puff Pastry Pizza. I knew it would be a quick and easy dinner to through together for our busy Monday nights. My daughter started a lacrosse clinic that’s about 35 minutes away and I’m always looking for something that I can quickly throw together and have enough time to eat before she needs to be there. This was the perfect recipe! It was really good and I didn’t change a thing. We will definitely be making this recipe again and again!

BLT Puff Pastry Pizza | Join Us, Pull up a Chair

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1/2 container chive and onion cream cheese
5 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup loosely packed arugula (I used a baby kale and arugula mix)
1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the puff pastry on the lined cooking sheet. I separated mine into three pieces, because it didn’t want to stay together. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Divide the cream cheese between the three pieces and spread evenly. Top with bacon, arugula and tomatoes. Enjoy!

Check out all the other great recipes in this week’s reveal!

  2. What a great way to use all the tomatoes we have growing in our garden this year! I love using the chive-flavored cream cheese as the base … it adds a ton of flavor with no extra work. Brilliant! And of course bacon makes everything better LOL.

  3. What a great idea! And I love that it uses the flavored cream cheese. Can’t wait to try this with some tomatoes from the farmers market.
