I’ve been doing a little experimenting in the kitchen lately to create a cocktail for the Stirrings “Stir It Up Holiday Blogger Mixology Challenge.” I hadn’t heard of Stirrings before this challenge and I’m sad I missed out on knowing about them this long. I love the four products I was able to sample and can’t wait to try more! I really like that their mixers are made with real fruit juice and cane sugar.
I received four of their products to work with to develop my cocktail:
Blood Orange Martini Cocktail Mixer
Peach Bellini Cocktail Mixer

I knew immediately I wanted to make something with the Blood Orange mixer. I love all things blood orange – there’s just something about the tart and sweetness of them. So delicious! I came up with this delicious Blood Orange Cooler! It was a drink that made me think I was on warm, sandy beach instead of in cold, dreary PA. 
1.5 oz triple sec
1.5 oz white rum
8 oz Stirrings Blood Orange Martini Mix, chilled
orange peel
Fill a glass with ice. Pour the triple sec and rum over the ice. Add in the martini mix and stir to combine. Garnish with a twist of orange peel. Take a sip and enjoy!
