It’s time for this month’s Fantastical Food Fight featuring chocolate covered treats. The possibilities are far and wide with this theme! I had originally thought about making truffles and then considered a chocolate dipped cookie … then I thought what about my something my husband loves – peanut butter, pretzels and chocolate! That’s where this treat comes in … a crunchy pretzel, filled with peanut butter and then dipped in milk chocolate, crushed honey roasted peanuts sprinkled on top with a drizzle of white chocolate.
These pretzels were super simple to make and the longest part was impatiently waiting for the chocolate to set before devouring them!
12 hard, crunchy pretzels
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
12 oz milk chocolate
4 oz white chocolate
1/2 cup chopped honey roasted peanuts
Fill the pretzels with peanut butter and set on a parchment lined baking sheet. Melt the milk chocolate according to the package instructions. Dip each pretzel into the milk chocolate until coated. Place back on the parchment lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with the desired amount of chopped peanuts. Once all the pretzels have been dipped, melt the white chocolate in a small bowl. Add a tablespoon of coconut oil if you need to thin it out to drizzle over the top of the pretzels. Place in the refrigerator until the chocolate has set. Dig in and try not to eat the entire batch in one sitting! 🙂
