Dips

Cinnamon Brown Sugar Dip

There’s nothing more decadent dip to go with a crisp apple. I had some extra large Pink Lady apples that needed to be eaten, so I looked through my refrigerator and pantry to see what I could make. I found a recipe for a dip that only need five ingredients and I had everything – perfect!

The dip is creamy, just a bit sweet and packed full of cinnamon. I prefer it a little more at room temperature than directly out of the refrigerator – but either way it’s delicious. It’s great with pretzels too!

8 oz cream cheese, softened at room temperature

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 tsp vanilla

2 tsp cinnamon

In a medium bowl, whip together the cream cheese and powdered sugar with a hand mixer. Add in the brown sugar and mix again. Finally, stir in the vanilla and cinnamon. Transfer for a serving dish and enjoy with apples, pretzels and vanilla wafers. Refrigerate any leftovers.
